Intensive Arts and Culture Development Program (IACDP)

The primary objective of the programme is to enrich and promote the values of tradition and culture of the Khasi Society and create a pool of talent for exceptional artists that can create opportunities and help sustain such talents at the grassroot level. The schemes undertaken in the programme are specific to the nature of arts and culture and are selected by the Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) and NGOs and are implemented through local durbars and beneficiaries organization under the supervision of respective Deputy Commissioners of the District.
