District Labour Office

The Labour Department aims at creating an environment of industrial peace and ensuring the workers their legal rights, safe guarding the child rights, protecting the interest of the workers and ensuring a healthy working environment conducive to both the workers and the employersand to ensure the abolishment of all types of exploitative labour, which in turn will build a brighter and more prosperous Meghalaya.
