Rules & Guidelines
- The essay must address the prescribed topic: West Khasi Hills at 50 and Beyond.
- There is no prescribed word limit; essays must be relevant, coherent and well-structured.
- Entries may be written in English, Khasi or Garo.
- The essay must be entirely original, unpublished and written solely by the participant.
- Plagiarism and use of Generative AI tools for writing or generating content are prohibited.
- Essays must reflect the participant’s own ideas and understanding.
- Language must be clear, coherent, well-organised and grammatically appropriate.
- Any external sources used must be appropriately acknowledged.
- Plagiarised, AI-generated or otherwise non-compliant submissions may be disqualified.
